Tupac Shakur: 17 years young and WISE as hell...
Interviewer: What do you see as some of the major differences between being a kid and an adult? Tupac: Children see things so great. What happens is that adults complicate things, and children don’t. It’s as simple as this: “the sky is blue”. And the adults wanna go “Well, the sky is blue because..” Everything wasn’t meant to be analysed. And...

Steve Jobs: Remembering death to live life
I have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: “If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I’m about to do today?” If the answer has been “No” for too many days in a row, I know I have to change something. Remembering I’ll be dead soon is the most important tool I’ve encountered to help me make the big choices in life....

Morrissey Interviews, Past to Present : Fragility...
I’ve realised that my posts have been highly concentrated in the realm of photography lately, so I’ve decided to do something else and share two interviews with Morrissey. For those who don’t know him, he’s the singer from The Smith, the godfather of all the irony-loving indie kids/had been indie-kids in the 80’s. Seriously, if you ever see the kind of indie-kid who...

Bruce Davidson : Interviews and Insights on Street...
Since the discovery of his Subway (1982) Reprint, I’ve been deeply inspired by Bruce Davidson and the compelling balance of reality/fantasy captured in his photographs. So I ventured out into the cyber-sea and fished out two video interviews; both worth a watch for anyone who’s ever attempted/aspired to shoot the streets. Much respect to the man who, at age 78, is still driven by...

Unicef Tap Project - David Droga
Idea : every time you order tap water at a restaurant, pay a dollar. This super simple idea led to the creation of the Unicef Tap Project, enticing thousands of people to contribute to the fight against a world where children die from a lack of access to clean water. It also spawned a movement of goodwill + general samaritanism that continues to this day. You can read more about it here.

WatchWatch
Lana Del Ray’s music video for the track, Video Games is a collection of aesthetically nostalgic clips from movies, home videos and paparazzi footages with inserts of Lana (real name Lizzy Grant) herself singing coquettishly to her webcam. The Idea Transport the audience to an era that is long gone, give a context to the hauntingly beautiful love song + establish the 60’s Hollywood...
